Research Facilities: Computational
The Biology Department has a computer support staff consisting
of a system engineer, software engineer, part time web designer,
part-time network administrator and student technicians.

The Biology department maintains two computer labs, located in
rooms 514 and 516 Science Annex. The computer labs combined are
equipped with 20 high end computer workstations, laser printers,
scanners, densitometer, slide maker and poster maker. All computers
are equipped with Windows 2000, Office 2000, Corel Suite, Adobe
applications and several scientific related programs. The labs were
provided from student Technology fees and are meant to serve biology
students. The two labs are supported by Biology
Technical Support. Room 516 is meant for graduate student researchers
and is accessible by key card that can be obtained from Hugh
Robinson. Room 514 can be reserved by faculty on
line.
