Welcome to the Murphy Lab in the Department of Biology at Georgia State University.

Our laboratory focuses on three lines of research: (1) sex differences in pain and opiate analgesia; (2) the impact of neonatal injury on adult sensory thresholds and (3) the supraspinal control of genital reflexes in male and female rats.

Our lab is a member of the Center for Behavioral Neuroscience and the Brains and Behavior Program at GSU.
