Funding

The Center activities are funded by a variety of sources including the College of Arts and Sciences of Georgia State University, the Georgia Research Alliance, the National Science Foundation and private contributions. The annual operating budget of the Center is approximately $1,535,000. In addition, the research programs of the faculty of the Center are funded by research and training grants from both public and private sources including the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation and the Whitehall Foundation. Annual research funding from extramural sources is approximately $4,000,000.
